November 2024 Weald to Waves

Weald to Waves

Our third winter lecture was held on Wednesday 2oth of November when Libby Drew and her colleague Garth from Knepp Wildland Foundation came to speak to our group about their pioneering Weald to Waves project.

Both speakers provided a fascinating insight the project and the vital role of farmers as providers of multiple ecosystem services as well as outlining the emerging opportunities for land managers and their exciting vision for a more joined up network of habitats utilising land bridges and tunnels across Sussex. For those who were unable to attend I recorded a video of the presentation which you can watch on YouTube here.
