Newsletter No. 4 – Spring 2019

Thank you to all those that managed to attend the Fabulous Winter Lecture series! In January, Nick Pile from Cliffe Vets gave a fascinating insight into Liver Fluke. Februarys Speaker was Mike Swan from the GCWT speaking on Predator control, a topic very important to everyone. He has offered to come back later on in the year for a demonstration . We have had very good attendance at these 4 events and look forward to more of the same this winter. The Lectures will start again in November 2019.

Back in November 2018, our first winter lecture speaker;  Farmer Phillip Merricks kindly invited the Cluster group to his farm for a visit:

Elmley Nature Reserve, KENT ME12 3RW  – Wednesday May 8th @ 6.30 pm

Please let me know if you would like to come and we can arrange transport accordingly! (Light refreshments will be provided)

The Website is NOW LIVE! Please visit www.pevenseyfarmers.co.uk  and check it out. There is a section named “Species List ” which can be accessed by members so that all special species can be logged accordingly.

There is  a member login area  – please see email for login details. Within this area, details of events will be posted. Feedback is welcome, as I can easily change content.

Hopefully it has been worth the wait!
